I had an extra day on my syllabus. Rather than prep an extra lecture on something important, I put that day before Thanksgiving break and cancelled class.
And I don't feel the slightest bit guilty about it either. Have a happy holiday, everyone. If you see a panic-stricken woman chasing after a toddler with wet pants in Boston Logan, that will be me.
