We have a contract on the big little house in the woods. Now excuse me while I go liquidate my retirement account.
The list of things to repair and remedy in our current place before it lists next week, as given to us by the interior decorator who we hired for this purpose, extends to three pages and includes having a moving company come in early and put about half our clutter in storage.
Clutter? My gigantic oak "Sunday paper" coffee table is clutter? Them's fightin' woids.

Yay! Congratulations on the big little house in the woods.
Clutter...it's all just perspective, that's what *I* think. However, most people think that what I have spread out so I can find that one little piece of paper I need RIGHT NOW, is, actually, clutter. Good luck with getting your house sold!
So exciting getting a new house, we just got a contract on a new (to us) house and I'm just thrilled.
I am truly envious - enjoy your quirky, fantastic new house in the woods!
Interior decorators don't decorate. They give orders to empty rooms. The only things we can have are about 2 objects per room. It was a tough exercise.
