The world needs ditch-diggers, too.

you should just say "it will cover the material from class".
haha....."I was going to start studying today" hahaha.
well since your such a keener.....
good lord.
This student is FUCKED.
Hee hee hee hee....
at least you know who the tail on the grade curve is going to be, now.
Calling the clue fairy...
"The test will consist of questions related to material covered in class and in the reading assignments. Students are expected to have a knowledge of the facts presented in the course, an ability to analyze information with the skills learned in class, and an ability to synthesize new information into the framework of knowledge presented in class."
These are the people who are going to be in charge when we are old and helpless. I'm more than just a little bit afraid.
My exam was Tuesday. Today is Wednesday. I just got this e-mail:
"Hi, I missed class Tuesday so I am a little lost as to what is going on.
Do we have a test tomorrow? Also, what is your policy on late papers? I have a lot of projects this week and it is just a little more than one person can handle. Thanks."
Wow . . . Then again, at the beginning of my MBA program, someone actually asked if we had to read all of the material (there was a lot to read and absorb). Needless to say, this student didn't last very long. :o/
Here's the one I got on Wednesday evening:
"I missed our last two classes and the only other person I know in that class missed them as well. Are we still having test #2 tomorrow? If so is their anything I should know or not study for?
I also love it when students ask me if they really need the text that the syllabus lists as required.
I ignore these. I pay for it later on the "Instructor was available to answer questions," section of my evals, but it's a good pain.
