One more excellent reason why the nitwit legislators who made Sudaphedrine Hydrocloride(sp?) harder to get need to be struck briskly in the sinuses with a baseball bat, tire iron, or golf club (driver for preference).
I am a tenured faculty member at a large state university. My teaching efforts primarily consist of delivering statistics lectures to social science majors. These experiences have colored my perspective somewhat.
This blog is 100% FERPA compliant. It is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to any persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental. The Angry Professor is the creation of Mr. Norrell, who lives in Guam with four rhesus monkeys and a gecko. He has never taught at a university.

Extra work for today:
30 mins -- write a draft swine flue practice guideline for my docs.
1 hour -- attend the state hospital teleconferance on swine flue.
2 hours -- update hospital emergency plans, check vents, pharmacy etc.
30 mins -- rewrite the swine flu practice guideline, changing all the stuff that isn't true anymore (6 hours later.)
45 minutes -- provider consults for possible swine flu.
Tonight: read and asorb the states 200 page pandemic flu plan.
Tomorrow: Do it all again.
I feel for you. I don't have swine flu, but I'm already sick of it.
Given that you're a pearl before the swine in your classes...
LOL.. how could you be so sure? ask a nurse
I don't think you sneeze with swine flu - you oink. (Sorry, I just couldn't help myself. I hope you're not really sick.)
Salud!

Hope you're feeling better soon, AP. Take it easy and rest. And tell your students to fuck off...like I'll be telling mine in about 30 minutes. :-)
Tell them if they annoy you you'll sneeze on them.
Yes, but does it excuse you from the final exam? No? Then why do students seem to think it will excuse them? AAAA!

I hope you feel better already.
