Is a good thing just around the corner?

I recently saw a beautiful short man in a coffee shop. (Note that I have never fallen in love with any man taller than myself.) I won't go into all the ways he could have made me weak in the knees, had the Angry Baker not so thoroughly weakened them already himself. He was mysterious, too: he pulled out his wallet to pay for his food and interesting sparkly hardware fell out, with "POLICE" prominently emblazoned above all the metallic bits and pieces.

The most exciting thing about him, though, were his big-framed glasses. The lenses went down below his cheekbones in a comforting '80s kind of way. Oh, I envied them so. Just think of all that landscape that could be devoted to my presbyopia correction! To be able to see, really see again, through more than the quarter-inch of lens at the very bottom of my ridiculously trendy narrow glasses!

If cool, hunky men are wearing big glasses, does that mean I can wear them again too? I promise not to half-tint the lenses pink.

I do wear big glasses. I never had glasses until the presbyopia showed up. Big is the only way to go if you want to see in a way which more closely resembles the way we used to see. My big glasses aren't trendy, but then they aren't too ugly, either.

When you come to see me, AP, by all means do wear large glasses. And your shawl. And nothing else.

As long as they you won't half-tint the lenses pink; you can wear them again.

Yet, I must ask, how short is he?

Captain, they've all been pretty short - from 5'2" to no taller than 5'6". AB is between 5'5" and 5'6".

One of the LSU vice-presidents is about 5'3". He is such a prick, and yet every time I see him... well, I feel like maybe he could change, ya know?

AP, academic administrators are sociopathic narcissists. They don't change. But if you see them wearing cocked hats and holding one hand in their coats, and the other is holding brochures from Elba, get REALLY worried.

WOW! I'm 5ft 3.5(I'm not a man :p)! I've never met a man who's my height... OH YEAH! I did. University... Do you like that in men? That's interesting.

Women typically think men will change... Do they? Not like Doug Ross from ER, I'm sure. I guess I know... I mean, we see it happening ALL the time... On TV and such :P

Good luck to you Angry Professor! How old are you? I wonder because your profile picture throws me!

Thanks for the reply :D

Wow, hot nerdy sex fantasies! The police thing is fairly mainstream, but the big glasses thing? Classic Egghead! Loving it! My advice for big glasses lovin' folks, it you like it, wear it, and make it hot.
