AP, I look at that picture, and I think that looks really yummie. I owuld love to have a piece. I wonder, are you in the wrong business, maybe you should cook stuff for a living.
That way you are speared the grief of teaching students that have less intelligence that the roast in the picture.
Well now, how do I explain licking the monitor to my husband, who wandered by at Just the Wrong Moment? that is eye-wateringly beautiful! We always have beef too, but more the "roasts in a crockpot" sort of thing. Delicious, and fabulous with horseradish sauce, either hot or cold. But oh my that is one lovely chunk o' food. (Dare I say, it tasted good, licking the monitor?) Happy New Year!
I am a tenured faculty member at a large state university. My teaching efforts primarily consist of delivering statistics lectures to social science majors. These experiences have colored my perspective somewhat.

O.
So.
Jealous.
Strangely lacking in goodwill, thinking about cold rare beef for breakfast.
oh wow that looks good!
I cooked a similar roast beast yesterday and served it with a nice red wine reduction.
Happy Merry
DO WANT.
Oh GOD why can't I convince my inlaws that beef is just as traditional for Christmas as (and much more desirable than) turkey?
That's a proper slab of holiday beast, that.
If you put your head up close to the screen, you can hear a faint, "Mooooo...."

hmmmmmmmmmmm....
Tries to figure out a way to get invited to the Angry household for Xmas dinner next year...
Do you have any tips for getting lick-marks off a flat-screen monitor?
And for the record, no matter how good your monitor is, you still can't taste pictures of good, good food... no matter how hard you try.
