In which I set some kind of record.
Two grant proposal rejections in less than an hour. I don't usually let proposal rejections get to me. They are, after all, only proposals. But two at once? That hurts.

That's nothing, I got four grad school rejections on the same day!
Funding levels are so low, I am pretty sure the top 10% of grant applications (yours included) are pinned to the wall and the review board plays "pin the funding on the grant" - blindfolded, of course. But I may be wrong, they might use darts instead.
